Industrialization Group Manager (m/w/d)

unparalleled food and nutrition science to customers around the world. DuPont Nutrition & Bioscience is now looking to fill Industrialization Group Manager role. Based at Niebuell
production site in Germany, Industrialization Group Manager will assume responsibility in starter cultures and
probiotics area and will manage local industrialization team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Championing production safety/food safety improvement process
Leading continuous improvement of production processes of starter cultures and probiotics in Niebuell site
Managing local Industrialization team including Plant Process Engineers, Assistant Scientists and Technicians
Providing engineering/project management support to CAPEX initiatives
Leading implementation of new processes/products and exploring new technologies in the area of starter cultures (lactic acid bacteria) and probiotics production
Foster team engagement and people development through information sharing, skills development and
promoting team contribution
Ensuring that the right resources, competencies, know-how and facilities are available to solve the requested
topics in a satisfactory and efficient manner
Participate in inter sites technical Manufacturing Technology network and projects
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate degree preferred, master's degree in biotechnology, bio-engineering or chemical engineering
Relevant work experience in process engineering, process development laboratory is required
Proven track record in management of continuous improvement, CAPEX projects, food & production safety
Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate with people from various organizations (Plant, R&D,
Business, Application, DuPont N&B customers, Quality Assurance etc.)
Strong people leadership skills and proven people management experience
Fluent German & English is mandatory for this position
Dynamic, sense of agility, result orientation, team spirit, flexibility and willingness to travel
