Allgemeine Beschreibung
Your responsibilities:- To support the integration activities on ASTA and take ownership of specific integration tasks as directed by the team leader
- Interface with the ASTA Partner Companies (APCs) in support of the Environmental Simulation integration activities and related functional chains
- Define and follow the relevant Integration Activity Plan for the specific Work-Package / Functional chain
- Attend to the required meetings (on site or at other premises), when required
- Perform integration of relevant S/Ws coming from APCs into the ASTA system environment
- Dealing with all the APCs, during integration phase, for all the day-by-day problems raised that are applicable to the functional chain
- Manage and interface with all the relevant APCs to control the S/Ws delivery and problem solving within own area of responsibility
- Perform required changes in the relevant software, when required in support of integration activities
- Be able to install the relevant patches - when required for further integration & testing
- Verify the relevant S/Ws changes when delivered by the APCs by performing specific end-to-end testing within the ASTA environment
- Raise and investigate System Problem Reports (SPRs) during integration activities
- Support the relevant Team Leader in defining integration activities / priorities raised on a daily basis
- Report to the relevant Team Leader the performed activities on a weekly basis or when specifically required
- Provide cover and support for activities tasks associated with other functional areas
- Cover specific new tasks assigned to Integration Team taking into account priorities and workload at the considered period of time
- Perform both ATM testing and Functional Tests during integration phase for the relevant Subsystem to validate the components
- Support during Engineering Testing, Quality Gates, CAAT etc.
Your profile:
- Engineering degree
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Windows, UNIX & Linux Environments
- ADA, Fortran, C, C++ languages
- Simulation and engineering processes used in system engineering, system integration and test/acceptance
- Training systems/simulators and/or aircraft systems engineering and design
- Aircraft Environmental Simulation
- Computer Networking
- Existing Eurofighter Aircraft Avionic System Knowledge is an advantage
- Any other programming & scripting languages is a valuable asset
- Good command of English both written and verbal
