You will support our customer in Hamburg-Finkenwerder and will be responsible for ensuring delivery and justification of provisioning recommendations for spare parts while taking into account the necessary operational, time and cost requirements.This job is limited due to a parental leave.
Role and responsibilities:
- Perform relevant analysis and investigation to develop a material prediction and recommendation for customer
- Assure the availability of provisioning and spare parts data and the respective documentation including follow-up of correctness and completeness
- Identify and report data quality issues
- Provide technical support selected sales campaigns by developing cost- based customized models
- Give relevant technical input to contract negotiation team
- Take care of appropriate escalation of conflicts and delays for aircraft material deliveries
- Carry out detailed engineering investigations to optimize the service level performance
- Deliver technical and spares planning expertise to Aircraft Marketing and Customers
Job requirements:
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
- A minimum of 3 years work experience in sales and purchaising
- Analytical thinking with high degree of independence, self initiative and flexibility
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Microsoft applications, MS-Access and SAP
- Willingness and ability to work with people across the globe
- Readiness to travel occasionally
- Strong English and German communication skills both verbal and written
